Computer Monitors
and Television Sets Are Hazardous Waste in California
The State of California determined
that discarded televisions and computer monitors are classified as hazardous
waste, unless properly recycled. This means it is illegal to dispose
of a computer monitor or television by putting it in the regular trash or
in a dumpster.
